My name is Miss Amy, and I am a first grade teacher in the Chicago Public Schools. This is my third year teaching and I must say, I love my job! Teaching is a tough career, there's no doubt, but the rewards you get are endless and compelling. I hope to be a teacher for a long time, but I do want to explore my creative instincts as well. That is why I am building this website. I would like to share my many ideas and adventures from my own teaching experiences with other educators. I enjoy using my creative juices in my classroom and searching the web for other teachers who enjoy doing the same. There are so many wonderful sites out there that it can be very overwhelming.
